A member of a well-known Saxtead farming family, the death of Mr. James Norton Breese, of Church Farm, aged 57 years. He had been ill for the past few years. He was the elder son of Mrs. Breese and the late Mr. James Breese, of Saxtead.
Mr. Breese, who was educated at Framlingham College, at one time farmed at Dennington, but later returned to Church Farm, Saxtead.
A bachelor, he was a keen follower of the Easton Harriers Hunt, and was whipper-in for them in his more active years. He served in the Royal Marines in the first world war.8

A Marriage in the GRO Register shows a marriage between Bessie E Breese and Michael E Teager in 1963. Also a GRO Death in the name of Bessie Evelyn Breese (with the correct Birth date) in March 2001. Is the 1939 Register wrong? Could the Bessie E Breese who married Michael E Teager, be her daughter?
