Wetheringsett Post Mill
The above photo was originally taken in black & white in 1969 by Peter C J Dolman for his book "Windmills in Suffolk: A Contemporary Survey"; Published in 1972 by the Suffolk Mills Group.

Large Post Mill with two storey roundhouse, built in 1882 by Whitmore & Binyon and the Clarkes to replace a Post Mill blown down in 1881. It ceased work c 1936 and was pulled down in 1957. The roundhouse remains as a store. There were four patent sails, two pairs of stones in the head and a fantail.1
