Little Stonham Hall

Little Stonham Hall is a Grade II listed building in Stonham Parva, Suffolk. It was first listed on 9th December 1955, and the record was last amended by English Heritage on 26th March 1987.1

The photo above was taken by Percival (Percy) William Finter of Bildeston, whose sister, Rhoda, married into the Rose family of Thorndon - relatives of the family of James Matthew who lived at The Hall at the time.

The photo below was probably taken by Frank James Matthew who lived at the Hall until his death in 1977. I estimate that the photo was taken in the late 1960's, based upon the manufacturing date of the car (Hillman Super Minx Mk III, c1964) in the foreground. This photo was kindly supplied by the Rose family of Debenham & Kenton.
