Obituary

     "Muriel Joan Vorrath, 71, a lifelong resident of Dundalk, MD, passed away on November 1, 2016. Muriel was the loving daughter of the late Martin and Rosie Vorrath, sister of Ronald Smith who pre-deceased her. Muriel is survived by her brother, Aubrey Smith and his wife Beverly of Churchville, and sister-in-law Ellen Smith of Dundalk; two nephews and one niece, Allan Smith and his wife Deborah of Rosedale, Annslie Shipley and her husband Michael of Gilbertsville, PA, Todd Smith and his wife Shari of Dundalk. Muriel is also survived by eight grand nephews and nieces: Steven, Scott and Tyler Smith, Genevieve Sutton, Collin and Trevor Shipley, Laurel Pszcolka and Timothy Smith.
Muriel retired from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after 15 years of service in 2010. She was active in the Dundalk community and volunteered for many years at the annual Watersedge Festival where she ran the money wheel. Muriel was an avid flower and vegetable gardener, a talented artist and dog lover.

     William Poyntz Patrick was born between 24 Feb 1760 and 22 Feb 1762.2 He married Mary Prentice on 24 Oct 1780 in St. Margaret, Barking, Suffolk, England.1 William Poyntz Patrick died before 23 Feb 1792.2 He was buried on 23 Feb 1792 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England; Mr. Hurn comments on this death "He died triumphing in Jesus Christ and laughing at the dissolution of nature, through the abundance of his spiritual joy."2
