     On 31 Mar 1901 In the 1901 Census Hannah Martin is described as M In Law. This cannot be correct, as her surname would not be Martin. Also, Ellen Knowland, who is Joseph's Mother in Law is described as S In Law.2
     Joseph Martin was born between 31 Mar 1873 and 30 Mar 1875 in Cheadle, Cheshire, England.2 He married Maude Knowland, daughter of Charles Adolphus Knowland and Ellen Norris, in Dec 1900 in Barton I, Lancashire, England.1
