     Douglas Alfred Tollemache was born on 27 Jun 1862; 8th Son.3,4 He was the son of John Jervis Tollemache and Eliza Georgina Duff.2 His birth was registered in the Sep 1862 quarter in the St. James's Westminster registration district.1 On 17 Aug 1887, Douglas Alfred Tollemache was living at St. James, England.5 He married Alice Mary Head, daughter of John Head, on 17 Aug 1887 in St. James, Westminster, Middlesex, England. By Licence. Witnesses were Tollemache of Helmingham; Edith Beatrice Head; John REginald Head; A F C Tollemache.5 On 22 Dec 1914, Douglas Alfred Tollemache was living at The Moat, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.6 He died on 31 Dec 1944.4

     John Carteret was born on 22 Apr 1690.2 He married Frances Worsley, daughter of Baronet Sir Robert Worsley and Frances Thynne, on 10 Oct 1710.2 John Carteret died before 7 Jan 1763.2 His estate was probated on 7 Jan 1763; Will dated 19th September 1757, proved with 2 Codicils 7 January 1763 (17 Caesar.)2
     
     Elected Knight of the Most Noble Order ofthe Garter 22 June 1749, installed 12 July 1750.2
