     Ambrose Frost was born circa 18 Aug 1842.2 His birth was registered in the Sep 1842 quarter in the Bosmere registration district.1 He was the son of Ambrose Frost and Maria Palmer.1 Ambrose Frost died before 20 Oct 1842.2 He was buried on 20 Oct 1842 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.2

     Henry Frost was born between 4 Apr 1818 and 2 Apr 1820 in Bressingham, Norfolk, England.1 He married Mary Ann Rumsey on 31 Oct 1852 in St. John The Baptist, Metfield, Suffolk, England.2 The marriage of Henry Frost and Mary Ann Rumsey was registered in the Dec 1852 quarter in the Hoxne registration district.3 The marriage of Henry Frost and Mary Knights was registered in the Sep 1874 quarter in the Depwade registration district.4 Henry Frost died before 17 Feb 1890.5 He was buried on 17 Feb 1890 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.5
     
     In Sep 1874 Although Henry and Mary didn't marry until 1874, she was his housekeeper for almost 20 years prior to that and the inclusion of the surname of Frost as a middle name for each of her illegitimate children would seem to indicate that Henry was the Father.4
